This design research provided a base for the thesis about gestures in a smart home environment. The components consist of UX research, design, and data visualization. The data visualization piece about the energy at home took an award from Kantar Information is Beautiful in 2018. The study won both the John Baldessari Award in 2018 and the CSUF Outstanding and Creative Activities Award in 2019.
